Story

This is the song that I listened to, and cried to, on repeat. Over and over again after John passed. I was so broken and in such a dark place… not only from losing John and witnessing him dying over the course of a year, but also being witness to Bryanna’s devastating brokenness. This song helped me to find Jesus, to know He would find me and rescue me from the mess that I was. I don’t need it anymore. I’ve been rescued. Thank you, Jesus, for rescuing me and saving me from utter hopelessness.

Story

I was so obsessed with the lyrics of music and how they all resonated so much with my thoughts and feelings as I was growing in my love for Jesus and trusting Him. I wrote these lyrics down in my notebook in maybe April 2024 knowing how important they were to me “I sought the Lord and He heard and He answered.” That’s what happened to me. When I went to Tampa in April Bryanna made me a tattoo appointment and I had that phrase tattooed on my arm. I get a feeling of something so moving every time I look at these words on my skin. I have a lump in my throat and tears filling my eyes as I write this. It’s my truth.
